Virginia Court Apartment
Two bedroom apartment in Glasgow's Merchant City.
This is a two bedroom apartment sleeping up to four people, with access to a secluded courtyard, a quiet peaceful area for relaxing in, weather permitting! This is an older-style apartment than our others, which is reflected in the rental price, making it a good choice for visitors on a restricted budget. The apartment is in Glasgow's historic Merchant City, renowned for its sophisticated shops, restaurants, bars and clubs which mingle with grand architecture and art collections. Its central position means that theatres and tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. |

LOCATION
Virginia Court is ideally located to make the most of Glasgow City Centre. At the southern end of Miller Street is Argyle Street, one of the busiest shopping streets. Head in the other direction along Miller Street and you can see George Square ahead of you, presided over by the imposing City Chambers. Regular exhibitions are held in the square throughout the year, and it is also a great place just to sit and watch the world go by. The apartment is close to Glasgow's historic Merchant City whose magnificent buildings have been lovingly restored in recent years, and are now home to the most sophisticated and up-market shops, restaurants, clubs and bars. |

And the delights of the UK's second largest shopping centre can't fail but draw you into the main shopping centre of Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and St Enoch's Shopping Centre, for more than a touch of retail therapy. If you fancy a bird's eye view of the city, the Glasgow City Tour on an open-topped bus starts from George Square - well worth taking during your stay. If it's culture you're looking for, there are museums, art galleries and historic buildings round every corner. Theatres too abound, with a wide variety of performances throughout the year, from serious theatre to comedy, avant garde to traditional, pantomimes to musicals. Glasgow Film Theatre is not far away, showing a specialist programme of film, TV and video, much of which can not be seen elsewhere. The latest blockbusters are available in the massive Cineworld on Renfrew Street. |
